Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the iOS application “Leben in Deutschland” (“Leben in Deutschland” or the “App”), provided by Dmytro Hriza.

2. Information stored on your device

Leben in Deutschland stores the information needed to provide its learning features locally on your device. This may include:

• your selected app language and federal state;
• appearance and translation preferences;
• question status, answers, learning progress, and mistake history;
• mock-exam sessions, results, and completion dates;
• the status of your full-version entitlement.

This locally stored information is not transmitted to Dmytro Hriza and is not used to identify you.

3. Information we collect

We do not operate user accounts or a backend database for Leben in Deutschland. The App does not include advertising SDKs or developer-operated analytics, and we do not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information through the App.

If you contact us by email, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message. We use it only to answer your request, investigate an issue, or improve the App. Support correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and any applicable legal obligations.

4. Apple services

App Store purchases

Purchases and restorations are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive your complete payment-card or billing details. Apple may process purchase and device information under its own privacy policy.

Translation

Leben in Deutschland uses Apple’s system translation technology. Translation is performed by iOS using language resources on your device. iOS may require a compatible language model to be downloaded before a translation can be prepared. We do not receive the text you translate.

5. Tracking, advertising, and cookies

Leben in Deutschland does not track you across apps or websites and does not display advertising. These website pages do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or contact forms.

6. Retention and deletion

App settings and learning data remain on your device until they are removed by the operating system or you delete the App. Because we do not receive this local data, we cannot access or delete it remotely. Deleting Leben in Deutschland removes the App’s locally stored data, subject to Apple’s device backup and restore behaviour.

You may ask us to delete support correspondence associated with your email address by writing to support@lumo.kids. We may retain information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

7. Children’s privacy

Leben in Deutschland is an exam-preparation tool and is not directed to young children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

8. International use

Leben in Deutschland may be available in multiple countries. The App’s learning data stays on the user’s device. Email correspondence may be processed by the service providers used for the support mailbox.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, applicable law, or our practices change. The current version will remain available on this page with an updated effective date.
